Physicians who understand and treat patients with MCS, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity

Last month I asked friends and acquaintances to share names and locations of physicians who treat Multiple Chemical Sensitivity.  I received several responses and post the results below.  If you would like to recommend another physician who treats environmental illnesses such as MCS, please leave me a comment so that others who are searching may benefit.

Rodger Norris of Timberon, NM recommends two physicians:

Dr. Ambrose Aboud, MD specializes in Hematology, Oncology, Internal Medicine.
1900 North Oregon Street, Suite 500

Dr. Ahmad Hajj, MD specializes in Critical Care and Pulmonology.

El Paso, TX 79902
(915) 351-2300

Melinda Honn, MCS advocate and president of the Southwest Environmental Health Association makes several recommendations (below) and also commented, "Finding a doctor that understands MCS is very difficult. Even more difficult is finding a doctor's office that is low enough on chemical contaminants that someone with MCS can visit. There are only a handful of doctors in the country that have a fragrance free office policy and perform any type of enforcement to see that the environment is maintained."

Need to see physician in or near East Tennessee who will understand and treat patients with MCS. I rarely go out in public to avoid becoming ill so if someone could please help me find a physician with fragrance free office that is in driving distance I would be so grateful. I can travel but the fumes from vehicles and other outside sources cause me to break out in red rash, hard to swallow, get migraines, vomit, my heart beat slows down and if extreme enough I may pass out. I carry an Epipen at all times! Please help me.

I hope someone can help you find a doctor. If not, consider the help provided by this program. I will be starting the at home program. It has great reviews. Do some research and decide if this would be a good fit for you. I wish you the best!
